About

Software vulnerabilities continue to be a prominent concern in the technology landscape, having profound effects on the digital security of individuals, organizations, governments and society as a whole.

This course is a comprehensive session designed to introduce the audience to the world of software vulnerabilities and the research process. Throughout the session, participants will gain a foundational understanding of what software vulnerabilities are, why they are caused, their potential consequences, and the role of vulnerability research in safeguarding our digital ecosystem. Real-world examples and case studies will be used to illustrate the impact of vulnerabilities.

Attendees will get the foundations to understand how modern attacks are made possible and how they can be solved.

This event is organized by the ICRC as part of the ICRC Education Program, in partnership with DART and the Blavatnik ICRC. This course will be given for the first time here at Cyber Week.
