About
The recent launch of ChatGPT has focused public attention on the advent of artificial intelligence and the policy and governance challenges it brings. While generative AI and large language models have captured the public’s imagination, other forms of AI are already deployed in organizations in military, cyber, healthcare, research contexts and more. Policymakers from the US and EU to China have grappled with this fast moving technological landscape trying to craft rules and regulations that ensure safety, trust and individual rights while not dampening innovation. In this session, thought leaders from government, academia and industry discuss the challenges and opportunities of AI, including policy considerations for AI developers and governance of AI tools in organizations.
