About

For the fourth consecutive year the British Embassy Israel, together with Barnea Jaffa Lande will gather key stakeholders from the UK and Israel to discuss the important topic of Online Safety. Technology and social media platforms have brought extraordinary benefits and innovations to everyday life. They facilitate the exchange of information, goods services and social interaction across the globe and are important enablers to economic growth everywhere. Unfortunately, cyber bullying, harassment, digital abuse and other criminal behaviours are increasing, holding many back from enjoying the benefits that access to the internet can provide.  During this session, we will discuss the government’s responsibility towards its citizens, the challenges and opportunities of harnessing AI and technology to manage online risks and the opportunities of collaboration in creating a safe and positive digital future.
