Roee leads the Maglan unit (which was acquired by Accenture in June 2016) within Accenture Security. For the last 14 years Roee has been a Vice President, Technical Department Manager and Head of the Cyber Warfare Labs in Maglan.
His skills and expertise include:
• More than 20 years of experience in cyber security.
• Managed and performed numerous security assessments and adversary simulations against complex networks, applications, infrastructure architectures, cellular networks, proprietary protocols, embedded devices, SCADA, IoT, CANBUS, VoIP, and others.
• Special security advisor to various worldwide leading organizations in the financial, telecom and defense sectors.
• Performed security products vulnerability assessments and reverse engineering.
• Lead complex forensics investigations.
• Experience with malware analysis, both static & dynamic research.
• Deep understanding of network protocols in the various layers with research tools experience
• Hands-On experience with security of Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems.
• C++ and Java programming languages.
• Currently studying for an MBA in Kellogg business school.
Representative Engagements
• Successfully performed an assessment of a central (government) bank communication network with multiple critical findings found and mitigated successfully.
• Conducted a covert forensic cross country investigation and successfully found a suspected breach source and the person behind it.
• Took part and lead high-sensitivity red-teaming engagements with a focus on stealth and surgical precision operations
• Performed secure architecture review of an energy company IT to OT network connector.
