Serial entrepreneur, CEO and high-tech executive with deep expertise in software, IT security, SAAS, Internet and online marketing.
Prior to co-founding Glilot, Kobi held key positions in five start-ups: three of which as founder and CEO, and four of which had successful exits. Included on the list is InfoGear Technologies, market innovator in the field of Internet-enabled devices, and the developer of the first iPhone. InfoGear was later sold to Cisco. Immediately following, Kobi founded iWeb Technologies, a leader in online marketing, subsequently sold to Dentsu and Softbank. After, Kobi co-founded Lamda Networks, a leading cyber and space company sold to Nice systems.
Prior to his start-up experience, Kobi served as a technical officer in an R&D unit of the IDF, graduated Cum Laude from the Technion University where he studied computer science, then completed his MBA Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University.
Kobi brings to Glilot his profound understanding and experience in a range of technologies and markets, including cyber, software, Internet, and online marketing.
Kobi is an entrepreneur. He enjoyed a long career as an entrepreneur, and still considers himself one. He co-founded Glilot as a fund of entrepreneurs - for entrepreneurs - with the notion that a new investment model should be created; a model that creates a win-win situation for entrepreneurs and investors alike.
